画册《刘广云》将于2015年11月28日14:30在丽安当代艺术空间正式发布。届时艺术家刘广云将配合画册进行图片展示和作品解读，为大家介绍自己十年来的工作历程。该画册由中外文化交流大使、艺术收藏家王凯丽（Kelly Wang) 支持出品。

【讲座内容】
刘广云的工作，可以被看作是一个特殊时期，从一个地缘到另一个地缘的故事，从一种文化正在走向另一种文化的过程，艺术在这里也从一端到达另一端，从一种情境过渡到另一个情境中。这种工作具有双重特征，以及特殊的一致性。不能互为转译，却互为作用，艺术家既不是属于中国特殊语境中在发生作用，也无法在德国的语境中完善其存在，这些并没有为艺术家带来创作上的困扰，反之艺术家正在通过这一摆脱依靠的姿态，逐渐完善并构建属于个体的经验，并通过视觉的方式传达。
对于二十多年行走在中德之间的艺术家刘广云来说，探索反思作为执著漂移者的自我私人世界始终是其创作的主要灵感与动力之源。他抛开人们热衷的那些公众事件以及那种流行的宏大语境，袪除那些关于双重的异国想象的魅惑，专注于传达世界与自我的复杂微妙的关系，在自如游走于影像、综合材料、装置等艺术样式的过程中不断尝试以更为强烈，纯粹，直接的手段构建并拓展着自己的艺术空间。

【关于艺术家】
20年来置身西方的文化系统里，面对一个与其原初生活背景有着难以调和的差异性的成熟社会环境以及它的巨大的吞噬性与消解性，经受不曾有过的思想、观念意义上的多重撞击。他始终对身份、语境和处境保持着足够的敏感度和警惕性，他要做的是透过这些表象，关注并触及那些关乎存在与艺术的更为本质的东西。近年来他越来越频繁地游荡于中德之间，他喜欢这种充满了变动和未知的状态，希望会有更多的可能性由此生发。作为充斥于其个人的社会的时间与空间线索中的差异与未知，对于他来说始终都是感官、思想还有情感等多重意义上的。这种看似尴尬的状态却成为了他创作的资源。
刘广云，1962年出生于济南，1987年毕业于中央工艺美术学院，现工作生活于上海和德国美茵兹。他的作品包括综合材料、装置、录像、多媒体等，作品曾在 第9届 哈瓦那双年展、波恩第11届录像双年展、香港深圳双城双年展、第13届日惹双年展，波兰波斯兰国家美术馆 ，巴黎东京宫，Arte Reina Sofia马德里国家美术馆，上海民生美术馆，上海证大现代艺术馆，杜塞尔多夫艺术大展等国内外展览中展出。
In the past 20 years, Liu-Guangyun was based in a Western-oriented cultural system, confronting a developed social environment which constrasts from his original background in an uncompromising situation. This social environment also poses huge engulfing and dissolving energies on individuals.
Liu-Guangyun was one of those who “survived”from unprecendented encounters and shocks brought about by different ideologies, notions and concepts. He has been very sensitive and cautious inthe discussion of identity, concepts and situations, Furthermore, what he has been developing is a method of penetrating surface phenomena and reaching out to the deeply embedded – the “natural” elements of art.
Liu-Guangyun has travelled between China and Germany very frequently in the past few years. He is fond of the state of uncertainty and the unknown, as well as the possibilities generated by them.The differentiation and mystery that wanders between his personal zone and society, between his conception of time and space, is understood in various dimensions and layers: sensational, mindful and emotional. This unsettling situation, seemingly awkward, turns out to be a rich soil for his creativity.
Liu-Guangyun was born in Jinan in 1962. He graduated from Central Institute of Arts and Crafts (now Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University) in 1987 and now works in Shanghai and Germany. His artwork embrace forms including multiple materials, installations, videos and multi-media.
His work have been exhibited at the 9th Biennale of Havana, Videonale.11 Art Museum Bonn,Shenzhenand HongKong Bi - city Biennale 2013, Madrid National Museum Centrode Arte Reina Sofia, Paris Palais de Tokyo, Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum.
